Celebrating International Women's Day
Wishing our female customers, staff, business partners and co-creators a wonderful International Women’s Day. Today is a great opportunity to reflect on the achievements of female business leaders, politicians, artists, and creators. From its founding, Tuck Shop Trading Co. has been female led and operated. Launched by Lyndsay Borschke in 2013, Tuck Shop lies at the intersection of Canadiana style, lasting quality, and luxury.
Women have a direct hand in the creation of every Tuck Shop product. Beginning with its design, on to material sourcing, cutting and sewing, and finally arrival in store. Your favourite toque, dress or coat is the product of female creativity and workmanship.
To mark International Women’s Day we would like to highlight some of the incredible female staff who lead our team and inspire us each day.
Linnea Sage, Retail and E-commerce Manager
Linnea has been part of the Tuck Shop team for years. She began as a part-time sales rep while she was a student at the University of Toronto, studying History and Political Science. Last spring, she accepted a full-time position at Tuck Shop. At Tuck Shop Linnea can be found training new staff, creating email campaigns, and assisting customers to find the perfect item for themselves, friends, or family.
Outside of Tuck Shop, Linnea is an avid canoe tripper. In the past she has planned and led canoe trips ranging from 7-50 throughout Ontario. That experience has taught Linnea leadership, perseverance and above all the mentality that woman can accomplish any challenge they are faced with.
Nikki Ross, Photographer (Artistic Genius)
Nikki Ross is an incredible go-getter. This girl wont rest until she executes her vision to the best of her ability, whether it be in on film, with photography, or new medium she’s passionate about. Nikki initially joined the Tuck Shop team as a sales associate, but quickly proved her unique vision when capturing Tuck Shop’s newest styles.

Ginny Levy, Sales Associate
Another amazingly strong camp gal! Ginny has been our number one sales associate for the past year. When she’s not grinning ear to ear, or helping you find your new favourite item at the store, she probably sneaking in a few LSAT prep questions. A recent McGill university grad Ginny has her sights set on a career in law, and we can’t wait to see what she accomplishes.
